Grouping Catalogs Together as a Multicatalog Using XML Files

A multicatalog is a grouping of catalogs. Creating a multicatalog enables you to access a number of catalogs through a single "virtual" catalog that contains them.

Creating and configuring a multicatalog is done by including the MultiCatalog element in the catalog configuration (catalogs.xml) file. For more information, see "The MultiCatalog Element".

NOTE: A multicatalog must not contain hidden catalogs.
